Fairy tales were then not childish and pure,
why last time fairy tales so scary one?
Still dare act cute, careful some witch catch you go feed black cat or cook curse in a huge fish bowl ah.

Fairy tales don't have fairies help you hor, by the way.
Dream on, wait long long for your fairy godmother to *ding* in front of you.

4. Goldilocks and the Three Bears
In my lalala kindergarten version:
- Goldilocks wakes up upon hearing the three bears return and escapes through the window in terror.
In the original tale in 1837:
Version 1: The bears find her and rip her apart and eat her up.
Moral of story: Not to offend or touch stray animals; they may be fierce.
Version 2: Goldilocks is actually a old hag and when she jumps out of the window, she breaks her neck and is arrested.
Moral of story: Doing yourself unnecessary harm is stupid.

3. Hansel and Gretel
In my lalala kindergarten version:
- Clever Hansel & Gretel get their way out of the gingerbread house by throwing the witch to a fire and escape.
In the earlier version in French:
- It is not a witch, but a wicked old devil.
- The devil is tricked by many smart children like H&G and works out a sawhorse to make one kid sit on it and bleed, to threaten the other kid not to dare to escape.
- H&G pretend that they don't know how to sit on the sawhorse and want a demonstration.
- The devil happily makes a demonstration and just as the devil bends down to explain, H&G push his head towards the sawhorse and slash his throat.
- They escape.

2. The Girl without hands
(Not a very known story- so skipped :D )

Top,
guess what,
Our faved fairytale,
Girls' faved story ending & characters,
Most pitiful plot yet happiest ending,
Loads of climax and twists.

1. Cinderella
In my lalala kindergarten version:
- The prince comes to town to try the glass slippers on every girl's feet.
- Cinderella's two stepsisters have one-too big feet, the other-two small feet.
- Cinderella matches and marries the Prince.
- Cinderella's two wicked stepsisters too marry two rich lords and manage to live happily too.
In the earlier version in the first Century by the Grimm Brothers:
- Name is not Cinderella; but Rhodopis.
- The nasty stepsisters want to fit in the glass slippers so much that they cut off flesh from their feets proportionally and mend flesh with thread and needle to fit the size of the glass slippers, hoping to fool the prince.
- Ite, the prince see through the trick and marry Cinderella as usual.
- As the stepsisters complain in the garden, two pigeons peck out their eyes.
- As Cinderella enjoys her luxurious life in the palace, her two stepsisters spend their time on the streets as blind beggars.

Don't have a nightmare tonight,
Believe in your Alice in the Wonderland, Beauty with the Beast, Alibaba, Rapunzel and the three little pigs.
Fairy tales, are not very scary still (:
