351: The dance

Last friday went LDP launch with Mr Fong @ Teachers' Network, Orchard.
The launch was at 2pm, and I rushed to the office to find Mr Fong straight dot off the clock at 1:20pm.
He was, apparently, late, for 25 minutes.
._.
I was initially still worrying whether if we would be late.
Well, I guess he doesn't even care.
We set off at uhm, going 2.
& when we were walking to his car,
Johnny dad was looking at me strangely cos I was walking with Mr Fong.
It's weird la, who will tag so closely to any teacher yea?
AND AND,
Mr Fong just got a baby! :D
I overhead the convo he've got with another teacher.
"Wa, go home carry baby ah?"
HAHHAHA.
On his car, everything was freaking awkward.
Thank goodness we were listening to the radio, and that DJ was discussing some issues.
He asked me questions here & there,
like how am I, which SP I am in, scholarship, BSC, who's in class, how's life etc.
Finally, we reached this place,
& it was quite an old place, but nice, got retro feeling. :D
He parked his car behind the main building, at this dam old tracks.
YES, RUNNING TRACKS. ._.
Rushed to LT3, and we were dam late.
The whole lecture theatre was filled with students and teachers, and this woman had already started the speech.
I quickly signed my name, took this booklet and got to my seat with Team 4. :D
Students from HCI (ENORMOUS NO. of 2 STUDENTS), NYGH, ACSI, RI, RGS, DHS, and NUSH.
All schools spam students, except ours.

It was a great opening, I was dam excited for the programme.
The different agencies went up to present their agencies to us.
Like, YWCA, St Andrew Autism Home, Beyond Services, Touch, Onepeople.sg etc.
We were supposed to work two proposals with two agencies on two projects,
get one approved by MOE at the end of this year,
and start leadership courses & preparation and execution of programme next year till April 2010.

The other 5 members in my group,
Audrey, NYGH, got huge brain & initiative to call up agencies.
Jing Yi, NYGH, got superb organisation skills,
Docras, NYGH, critical and smart,
Zac, ACSI, only boy in the group, my friend,
& Kimberly, DHS, quiet but powerful. (:
Thou first day abit shy, and during the visit to those agencies' booths,
abit quiet ah,
but team four will shine of all, all the nine other teams.
Next meet up, have to visit YWCA & Beyond, be bonded and strong people.
I can sense something special amongst us,
serious serious.
After visiting the booths, we discussed abit, and it turned out well eh.
Looking forward to working with you guys in the next 7months or so yea.
Judging from the spam emails, we are very productive yea.

THIS TEACHERS' NETWORK IS FREAKING ULU.
Right in the middle of somewhere,
have to walk to Orchard MRT, take train to Newton, bus to HCI, go to boarding school, pack and leave for home.
I reached home at 8:30pm that night ._.
In future, it'll all be like this.
But come to say,
walking home alone at night with luggage is cool.
With cars underneath you,
you look far with your clothes, books on the bridge, into the sky.
Shanghai, here I come, 35 more days, ♥
P.S. I even made my desktop wallpaper a night scenery of Shanghai, I am working hard for EOY and going to enjoy hell self there, I will make sure I will. Jiayou freakos. [:
